Questions before you commit
Can masters lock logbook entries?
Yes. Deck and engine logbook lock permissions control day locking. The deck book adds master approval and A.916 coverage checks when the module is enabled.
Is MGN 690 an optional extra?
No. When the deck logbook module is enabled, no-delete, amendment history, master lock, and PDF/XML export apply automatically. A flag Declaration for onboard use, and any UK type-approval assessment of the software, remain separate steps — WaterTightVM does not issue them.
